  • Executive Director
After seven years at Judson Park, Executive Director Russell Akiyama credits the residents with making the community more like a family. They created their own constitution, defining the Judson Park Family as residents, staff and the Board of Directors. “That definition, in my opinion, makes this a special place,” says Akiyama.

  • Director of Spiritual Services
Even though he never expected to stay so long, Rev. Painter has been a part of Judson Park for more than 25 years. The reason? Through working with everyone from residents to families and staff, he has learned there’s no better place to be.  “Judson Park is really a supportive community,” says Painter. “And community is the key. It’s about creating a tapestry of life.”

  • Fitness Coordinator

His title is Fitness Coordinator, but to Ken Ray, there are no typical days at work. Every journey toward good health is unique, says Ray. “I love the residents here,” he says. “They’re funny, give great advice, and make my job new every day. The overall atmosphere is unlike any I’ve seen. I only hope I can give as much back as I get.”

  • Director of Resident Services
According to Director of Resident Services Natalie Wilcox McCann, Judson Park is more  than a place to work — it’s the place where she has grown up. “The day I interviewed here  was the day my husband proposed. I’ve always felt supported by residents and co-workers during the exciting times, as well as the rougher patches. That camaraderie is what makes my job so enjoyable.”

  • Life Enrichment Coordinator
To understand just how much the residents mean to the staff at Judson Park, look no further than Douglas Chadd, Life Enrichment Coordinator. Not only does he enjoy local, overnight and even out of state trips with the residents, but his favorite adventure is taking them to his farm each summer to share with them his life outside of work. “I really enjoy spending time with our residents,” explains Chadd.
